Day eight

Hi there! How did you go yesterday? I was really lucky! I got a day off from my focus room. The weather here was absolutely foul. It was raining and blowing something shocking!!

Day eight already!! In two more days the cycle will be over, and you get to start all over again!

Continuing on with our theme of Pet week, today we are going to sort out your pet’s toys. Throw away the old, brittle and broken (beyond use) toys and if you can replace them with new playthings. I don’t know about you, buy my dog, Charli, literally shreds any toy we buy her, so we have to rake up shredded rubber and plastic regularly!

Today’s Focus room is the Laundry:

Jobs you can do in the Laundry

Vinegar and bicarb hot rinse cycle the washing machine
Empty lint filters
Clean the laundry trough
Empty soaking pails and refill
Dust window sill
Check washing supplies and add to shopping list what needs replacing
Wipe over the top of the washing machine
Lift the lid, and wipe the interior of washing machine
Wash any cloth hampers
Clean fabric softener dispenser
Decobweb the room
Wipe benches down
Do a general tidy up

OBSCURE JOB OF THE DAY: Dust the top of your drier (if mounted) Usually the top is forgotten since it’s so high up.
