Day 3
This week is RECYCLING WEEK:
Clean out your recycling bin – hose it out, pour in a good amount of disinfectant and empty.
Today is day 3 of the two week cycle. Today’s focus room is the Master Bedroom:
JOBS THAT CAN BE DONE IN THE MASTER BEDROOM:
Pull out furniture and vacuum behind it.
Dust all surfaces
Clean interior windows
Clean mirrors
Strip beds and remake
Wipe down all furniture with a damp cloth
Tidy cuboards
Tidy bookshelves and other shelves
Wash curtains/clean window fittings
Empty drawers and wipe out
Empty shoe storage and wipe out
Air out the room
Sort out clothes and shoes that no longer fit or not season appropriate
Tidy/clear bedside tables
Decobweb the room
OBSCURE JOB FOR THE DAY: Wash your broom and mop. Fill a bucket up with hot soapy water and dip the broom into it. Rub the bristles with your hands gently to remove the build up of dust, cobwebs and other gross things that could be in it.
Washing your floors with a dirty mop doesn’t clean your floors properly so it’s important to keep the mop as clean as you can. It depends on what kind of mop you own as to how to clean it. If you own a sponge mop, it’s not necessary to clean the mop head. Replace the sponge part regularly. Other than that string and microfibre mop heads can be put into the washing machine. Wash on a hot cycle.
